I wonder if this should be placed in the abstract catagory....I have returned to this one several times and as a flower it doesn't do it for me....however I love the lighting and colors.  I find the presentation quite appealing and my eyes search following the lines bathed in light in this image. If you cropped a bit off the top (the blown areas) so that all we see is this magical light and color I think it would make a huge difference in the quality of this image. I do hope my words do not offend it is OMHO...still a great image and I do like it.
