Caledonia 0 Posted October 24, 2010 The forest floor at Culzean Castle in Ayrshire,I converted to black and white added a slight copper tint then painted back the original colour in a single leaf. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2010 douglas -This is an amazing image. I of course love the colorized work. Such a simple, intriguing subject and composition. The green is perfect. The touch of color in the desaturated leaves contrasts captivatingly with the green hue. The forest cover brought good saturation to the leaf stem I am assuming. The brown plays beautifully against the desaturated leaves. 7/7 All The Best, Catherine Link to comment
AndyMiller 0 Posted October 25, 2010 Excellent Douglas, like this a lot. This kind of shot was very "in" some time ago but for me this is a first rate example and has lost none of it's appeal. The slight tint to the B&W and the position of the coloured leaf are spot on. Rated 7 by me. Styles come and go but good examples always stand out. Link to comment
