This shot was taken yesterday while on a photo club outing in the

Fraser Canyon. I appreciate all comments, and thank you for visiting

my space.

Your choice of framing gives a good feeling of space and of the depth of the canyon, paradoxically by allowing the canyon wall to fill the frame almost completely.

Two critiques:  First, the power lines just visible over the near wall are an unfortunate distraction from this otherwise lovely scene.  I'd be inclined to clone them out, though I suspect they could have been eliminated in the first place with a slightly lower vantage point for the camera.  Second, though much more subjective, I'd move toward a bit more saturation in the color here, in order to present the warmth as well as directionality of the light that was present (quick workup attached).  That's a matter of personal preference, of course, and since this is your image, take the attached rework with a grain of salt!

Thanks for the advice, John.  I love your version, although for my taste I feel your colors are a little warm.  I tend to keep things the way I see them, but like you said it is all about preference.  I am glad you took the liberty to show your version though as it gets me thinking variations in processing.  Cheers, mate!
