It must have been a beautiful sight , all those white birds in those trees, but with this low resolution it becomes a lot of white things in three trees against a very nice background. Maybe restricting to one or two trees would have helped. I would liked to have seen the whole >10 megapixel format.

cheers, hans

Wow, this is spectacular! What a unique scene, beautifully captured! This definitely gets a 7/7 from me!

Now that I've seen the original (I commented earlier on the single-tree photo and 3-tree photo that had both been processed), I can more fully appreciate the B&W processing in the other photos you've posted.  While I usually prefer "natural nature," I really prefer the B&W renditions because they are so unusual (not that this is a run-of-the-mill photo!).  I'm guessing you shot this at some distance from the trees in order to avoid having the birds fly away, and therefore it would be quite difficult to get a shot with the birds more clearly defined (especially if you were in a boat to get this photo).  Personally, I'm content knowing these are birds and seeing them decorating the entirety of the trees.

A couple of questions:  What birds are these (I'm guessing some type of egret)?  Also, there is what appears to be a box in the reflection of the tree on the right, but I can't see it in the tree itself, despite the fact that the box looks pretty substantial -- what's going on there?  [Wait, I think that's something in the water, and it just appears to be attached to the tree in the reflection.  Duh!]

This is really great, looks like trees in bloom.

Seems really fantastic to see in real.

Great original shot!

I clicked to see what kind of tree would be blooming while standing in water and see now the "blooms" are birds! What a delight it must have been to find this scene. Nothing to say but "well done!"

Exposure, composition and all other technical aspects are as good as could be required. Nice.
