indonesia-west papua Cassowary-The third tallest and second heaviest living bird

I know you said the image is near Biak but I am not able to recall where as I went thought Biak a lot to Babo. Can you tell me where?   I am curious.  Hope all is well on your end looking forward to your latest post... MJ 

It was in a large park close to Kota Biak, taman burung dan anggrek, where I went to have a closer look at the Cenderawasih and many other species of birds. Many Cassowaries roam free around the park, it was indeed a great place to see the most unique birds of Papua. Ummm...I do miss Indo so much...:)
