Guest Guest Posted October 15, 2010 Marina this image has a lot of potential. I am sure you were going for a high key effect, however the image is way too high key. It looks to be at least a full stop overexposed. The highlights in her top are seriously blown out, though they still do hold a little tiny bit of detail. The skin tones also have too much yellow in them. I adjusted the exposure values by adjusting them using the curves menu in Photoshop, brought out more detail in her top and adjusted the yellow saturation in her skin. The image is also just a tad unsharp.What do you think? Link to comment
marina 0 Posted October 15, 2010 I also like your version even it has some pinkish on the cheeks. As long as this was a work I did for this girl I wanted to be as close as I could to what she wanted and actually she's ubber happy with them so I'm satisfied. the colour balance was not random at all, but I think it's about one's taste. I know the burned halo is not "correct" in photography and I don't use to like to burn whites but sometimes rules are made to break them ;DThanks for your comment and the time you took making a right version !!
