This image is impressive. I'm in Italy I have something to do with the laws governing safety in the workplace and see these types of organization makes me shudder. This is an excellent document. congratulations my friend

the gloves that you see on their hands are relatively recent introductions, they would ruin their hands handling construction materials - and at times, the scars would be permanent, injuries just another hurdle in life

if you click right you will see another photograph that would shock you - children of contruction workers moving around unaccompanied by adults with open unbarricaded shafts and staircases with no railings

Rajat, A great image. My initial thought was that it might be more evocative in B/W, but hen we would miss the splashes of color in the various garments, and the lush greenery in the background, which really sets the work environment apart. The fragile looking scaffold and ladders look as though they could barely support one figure and yet there are numerous figures all precariously balanced, while trying to do their tasks. I am intrigued by the woman in red and the other climbing the ladder.

Very good capture, I like photos showing people at work, looks like women perform the hardest part at the moment...BR,vf

Rajat...  I am without words.  Your photograph documents an environment that leaves a helpless feeling, that we have so little influence in changing these conditions.... Mike
