owen_omeara 1 Posted October 12, 2010 Not either one of our favorite subjects but beautifully composed and executed. -Cheers Link to comment
mtmixon 0 Posted October 13, 2010 Interesting composition, all the more so since we don't know what the red shape is and therefore linger a bit to find out, thereby exploring the shapes of the drops. Nicely done. Link to comment

davidmccracken 2 Posted October 14, 2010 Owen, Maybe not our favourite subject but a very accomodating one. No complaints anyway!Michael, An interesting comment. It is so long since I took this, I actually forget what it is myself.Sofia, Thanks!Pierre, Thank you too. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 2 Posted October 16, 2010 This is as close to pure abstraction in a "straight" photograph as you can get. I like this photograph very much. The forms behind, the real subject I feel, are nicely composed. The raindrops add a useful focal point that helps provide contrast to the rest. Link to comment
arnav 7 Posted October 20, 2010 I have tried similar abstract shots. My shots come out terrible. So when I see one of these I stop to think what did this photographer do different. Well this one is another one of those very well done Abstracts.Nice going David.BestArnav Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 20, 2010 Mark, I think the reason this works is that it was just an opportune shot. I didn't set out to take it. Thanks a lot.Arnav, My reply to Mark applies to you to. As I say so many times, sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
