Plains of Gurudongmar

Lovely light and fabulous scene which adds up to a very good image. IMHO the only area of distraction for me is the dark blue in the top right hand corner which may have been caused by your circular polarizer. Should you wish to change that, it is an easy task with the softwares I know.

like the interplay of light and shadow on the ground ; the picture looks hypersaturated ( which you can correct ) ,  too many clouds in the sky does not make it  attractive either ; there are two more aspects - the f number is just 6.3 and exposure comp is  towards + ( ideally this should overexpose the white clouds ) .

Congratulations for your graduation to D3000 . Images look even better when shot in RAW format ..
