Common jay of the lower Pacific slope, this one photographed in the Guanacaste region. Magpie Jays roam in small flocks of about 4 to 8 individuals, each with distinctive black face and chest markings.@ F8 using a 28mm extension tube and SB-80dx flash with better beamer.
