At the end of August I took this picture in Oregon, and this lone red leaf reminded me that autumn is right around the corner.  Indeed, it is upon us now.  The colors are just starting to turn where I live.

I like the balance of colors.  And also, a trick of the eye for me was seeing a much larger scene, then realizing this was a great closeup image of the stream.

Marvelous, natural looking shot! I tend to photograph streams on a wider scale. I really like this close up. The leaf in lower right landed in the perfect spot. It blends nicely with the mossy rocks. Well done!

Fabulous scene that has been very well captured. I might have used a circular polarizer with 50%. Perhaps you had one on! (6)
