Mammoth Sunflower Photo Close-Up

This 10 tall mammoth sunflower is growing in front of my house. The

sunflower has not fully opened, which explains the up-turned petal.

Canon 5D and Canon 100-400 L, F9 1/800, ISO 400 jpg landscape mode.

Flower was about 10" feet away from the lens.

J.  really like the yellow blue combination, works very nicely. not so fussed on two tone white border. would also like to see center a bit sharper. if you are going any further with this image, would not hurt to clone wee black spot at about 2 o'clock. the nicer the image is the more prominent the spots become.

Thanks for your input Roger.  I noticed the black spot and chose to leave it.  It's either debris or an insect on the flower.  Slight imperfections are fine with me.  My goal is keeping my photos true to the original scene.

I've added a 100% crop of the center to show sharpness.

Sorry that you don't care for my frames.  In addition to being a place for my contact info, the borders make thumbnails of my images stand out in a crowd.

I feel honoured to have a comment from someone who sells stock photography.

I like the blue and yellow combination in this photo - it is my favourite combination although my sunflowers dress is on red, so looking forward to some red in the picture.
