paolo de faveri 1 Posted October 9, 2010 A soothing sunset over Campese bay, after a day of strong winds andstorms. Taken about two weeks ago at Isola del Giglio, a small islandpart of the Tuscan Archipelago, Italy. This is stitched from fourvertical takes. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for yourtime. Techs: Eos 50D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, GND 8x, tripod. 1/13 f16 eachframe Link to comment
rlopezmoral 1 Posted October 9, 2010 A good composition, but the water is a bit oversaturated. Regards. Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted October 10, 2010 I like how you brought out the calming turbulence, I think image is soft and foreground isn't giving justice t the sea and the Sun. Any other compositions during this shoot? Link to comment

alexander_hare 0 Posted October 10, 2010 Hi Paolo, This looks like a great location and you've timed your visit well-which is a key skill for all successful landscapes. I really like the way you have caught the sunlight on the rocks-this is hard to do and you've done it very well-it really lifts the rock from being a dark patch in the picture.I think you could go back and really work this location harder though. It has all the right ingredients-a setting sun, lovely textured rock, gushing waves but these aren't tight enough for me. I wish I could post an example of what I think you could do here so I will put one in my gallery when I get more space! But, I like that breaking wave in the middle of the frame and I would like to have been brought closer to that, having it pouring off the pictre and onto my lap. With the setting sun at the top of the frame I think this would have been a more compacvt shot with even more impact.Have you got any others we can see from this location?Alex Link to comment
