This is a great romp in the park of extrordinary psychological images.  Because of the look on the child's face, the black of the clown's costume and the dark overall cast it seems foreboding in intent.  Somehow I cannot figure out what the reddish object on the left represents and that leaves me somewhat puzzled about the entire meaning of the image.

I appreciate your time and comments. Jerry, the doll has no significance for my message. There really isn't a message. I used the doll, to not only balance the image (may not work for everyone) and mostly, to add another version to whatever the viewers interpretation might be...all good Halloween fun!
