When we lived in CA, we would often travel to the Monterey Aquarium, where I took some of my first pictures.  The cross created by the shark swimming over that beam of light is perfect, like stage lighting.  Fish beware.

Hi guys....good to hear from you!  This was taken in one of those underwater tubes where the fish swim all around you.  There were so many people that I couldn't set up my tripod (or it would have been rude to do so), so I shot this hand held in low light.  But that band of light provided a nice silhouette, so I was pretty pleased with it under the circumstances.  Thanks for stopping by!

The silhouettes are just the right choice for this image.  They convey nicely a  feeling of gloom, in contrast to the brilliance of the surface above.
