I love the vivid greens and fine foreground detail of this shot, the upper part of the sky I would consider cropping where the highlights are burned out, but I think it works in a landscape format. Original and aesthetically pleasing!

The eye wants to go to the big detailed green leaf and red flowers but is distracted by highlights of the clouds. Life of the picture in in the lower 2/3rds. Alf has a right suggestion. If you take the lagoon as 2/3rds and add 1/3rd of the sky it will make the picture theme centered. Regards ifti.

Hi Hamid. I have some reservations about this image. The foreground is excellent , very sharp, detailed and great vibrant colours. The sky however does'nt ring the right bell in my opinion. I would consider working on the highlights since they are blown out. Pity cause the subject is good as well as the composition with the horizon on the thirds. I also like the two red flowers contrasting in colours against the background. Best regards . . . John

Hamid, I agree about the cropping, but like the idea very much, because it is a lovely scene and also because I have not yet managed to get a good landscape image of the places I take pictures of lotus flowers. I would love to see more of this place.

Beautiful shot, Hamid...excellent details...foreground green with two or three flowers are amazingly attractive...vivid details of the sky and cloud pattern are also attractive...but some how not in sync with the mood of the foreground...what a contrast...both the things are there in our world...I would prefer to see the image in a horizontal format for its serene appeal...my best

My take, is foreground is excellent and  would prefer a landscape format below the highlighted area.

I agree with most of the comments above, this is great but misses somehow. I think landscape would have added more punch. Still I like what you have here and find it most original as far as how you have captured the subject.
