I was sitting down by the pond on this morning when I noticed a female wood duck stick her head out of this box and then she jump into the water below. Ive seen this so many times so I did not think to much of it. So I looked elsewhere and then less than a minute later I looked back at the box and noticed a little baby sitting on the hole (door) and it jumped so at this point I realized what was going on I did manage to get 2 shots of these guys (The last 2 of 10) I hope you like the shot its not perfect but its the best I got. The chances of me seeing this again are pretty small.

Wood duck nests on your pond, how cool is that.  His little wings are so cute.  Looks like he/she learns to swim before flying.   Expect to see some takeoff/landing shots of wood ducks in the future.
