I'm always fastenated by shots of the GGB.  It's hard to find a unique view, but I don't think I've seen this one before... Initially I was going to suggest more contrast, but I think this works just right to show the low clouds and fog... Good one.... Mike

This is a lovely capture of the famous and dramatic bridge.  The fog hides the top while the clear FG with its vibrant colors is in a dramatic and pleasing contrast with the top. Your FG is sharply in focus and thats good. This is a very good example of how good a 'normal' lens is and F18 was perfect here.  Regards, ifti.

Christal,

Beautiful image with wonderful color & details.  Fog is something that always has amazed me, but I have a hard time with the lighting.  You have done a wonderful job capturing it.  Take care, Patsy

How I miss this part of the world.  The yellow pairs well with the progressively muted colors of the bridge and sky.  I like how the fog is settling in and over the scene.

Thanks for your appreciation of this.  We were in CA for 10 days, but we literally only had a few hours in San Francisco proper.  My goal was to capture the GGB in fog, and being that it's San Francisco, Mother Nature cooperated.  :-)   I didn't really know how to shoot in fog, so I guess I was lucky that it turned out as well as it did.  I've seen some spectacular images of the GGB....and at night too......but all in all I was pretty pleased for my first effort.
