I do not know how simple this image might look but to me the powerful aspects lays all over its outstanding exposure and amazing composition, both the present of the man and he content of the surrounding really gives this photography a great potential and very interesting atmosphere, this is plus the sort of contrast and tone which are other great elements to add to the quality of this remarkable work.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

A classic street scene, with a strong composition, a richness of textures, a balanced B&W and some really effective details, first of all (for me) the hand holding the keys.

There is one aspect I find disturbing, though, and it is the excessive (for me) vignetting, which I guess you added in postproduction. Now, I'm by no means against "artificial" vignetting (you might see in my gallery I'm using it now and then), it is quite useful to add "focus" to the subject when it is rather central in the image. But for my taste it should be applied with a lighter hand, least it looks unnatural. Here the right leg of the man seems to suddenly disappear in darkness. I think this image does not "need" vignetting, in fact...

Ciao
