My Wonder Lake

The iconic image of a moose in Wonder Lake in Danali NationalPark

rang in my mind as I waited out alpenglow on NH's Franconia Ridge. A

large male moose wandered out of the trees and posed for me briefly. I

was lucky enough to have him remain motionless during this low ight

exposure. Someday I hope to have a moose much closer with the

alpine backdrop.
