A nicely portrayed young life and fun. Love composition of the wind swept tall grass with its plumes. Well framed with partial brick walkway and sark trees above. Thanks for sharing, Regards, ifti.

A very different and challenging image.  The energy expended by the two young runners is very well portrayed, with especially the angle of the arm of the youngest at the rear.  Without that detail the image could have fallen flat.  The wind in the grasses gives a feeling of outside forces, combined with the ripples on the water below.

Cheers

Jim

This picture captures is the common experience of boys at play around the world The perspective is brilliant with the grass rising up like stormy waves around them. Such carefree times now exist for us only in pictures. Alas.

Even more powerful when enlarged. The visible 'breeze' adds definitely value to the overall excellent composition. Compliments!

The appeal to me is that it triggered a childhood/teenage memory. One one ocassion some friends and i started helping ourselves to mangoes on land whom we did not know to whom it belonged. An angry owner came out of nowhere wielding a cutlass/machette uttering what he would do to us if he caught us.  We did not wait to find out and took offer with great speed. (I now know why the Caribbean has produced so many Olympic sprinters).

Sometimes i find myself being too analytical and my approach is to ask what caught my eye and it is the light colored objects waving in the air and the boys running with great energy. Does the rest add value? And there is no one answer. However that answer is the framework under which one may do a crop.  I have done one but it is only for discussion and I never claim that mine is the right one.

Beautiful pix, Kallolda. very nice composition & tone. Tight cropping will not give the breathing space required for the boys and the mood of atmosphere will also
be lost.

Very appealing and eye-pleasing capture, with very nice use of color channels in b/w change. Look like infrared filter effect. Composition is strong and effective. Bravo.

Kallol, image of the season. The kash-bon & children running through it reminds me of ' Pather Panchali'. Very good composition & tonality. I also feel about cropping a bit from top.

I love this; such a happy and carefree moment captured here forever! This brings back many happy childhood memories when I would play in fields just like these! Thank you so much for sharing this photo and allowing me to revisit that time!

I think the windswept grasses are an interesting and aesthetically pleasing feature by themselves, but the added human element brings the shot to life and tells a story.

Well done Kallol.

This deserves to be viewed large to appreciate how wonderful this image is. So dynamic that the tall weeds seems to dance to the wind and the two children completes the image. Great photo!
