Guest Guest Posted October 1, 2010 Francois,What a beautiful girl. I love the composition, the warm lighting on her face and her expression. The window has some wonderful leading lines to Liloo. The rim light works well to help separate the bottom of her hair and neck from the darker background and shows off her elegant neckline.I am not too fond of the bright white light behind her. It is rather distracting.Make sure you focus carefully on her eyes. They are not as sharp as they could be.I am not too sure why she is playing with the knife. Maybe I don't want to know. I have watched a few horror movies lately and I am afraid of what her thoughts may be.There really is too much of the whites of her eyes showing. Being able to see the whites of her eyes on both sides helps to balance them.Catchlights would add a bit more life to her eyes, but perhaps you were trying to add an air of spookiness to her. It really would be a shame for such a lovely looking girl to be thinking of some nefarious activity -- like removing useful parts from an unfaithful boyfriend.Nice shot,Mark Link to comment
