my goodness, to be first in the long long string of comments.  i hardly know what to say.  sorry.  you are very popular, though.

one of my favourite words is "complacent," which to-a-tee describes the buck.  the birds too, as i look again.

the compositing of antlers and branches is fab.

why such an extreme perspective toward the front.  the ground actually seems to be curving downward, so that the buck and the near branch float above the abyss?

strange it feels. there're trees, animals, birds and even humans, perhaps, but no foliage or grass, no greenary. great creation, though. compliments -koushik

The concept of the "Well paved forest" I use many times on my pictures and it represents the destruction of the nature by the so called civilization Koushik!

A quick comment before bed, at 2:30 am!

An excellent commentary on the invasion of natural habitat by man's desire for more space.

If the deer is myopic those denuded trees must be confusing due to their resemblance to deer antlers... and in a Paved Forest at that.

Best wishes my friend,

This composition reminds me very much of how our world is changing - getting warmer, and the deer and other forest animals are coming farther south, and visiting places they never would have a few years ago.  Sad, they have to come into the cities to find food.    Another great additon to your Portfolio Pierre.  sincerely, Gail

Ahh .. Bambi at last, I shall sleep better tonight .. speaking of Bambi though, it was nightmarish for small kids to view, one of the strange paradoxes of Walt Disney's films ..

.. to return to  the image, beautifully composed and coloured of course. I say of course, because you have truly mastered the art of imaging and story telling in the process, though maybe it's me that is in need of a psy and not you .. : -)
