Christal, when you ask about whether this is good enough for the subject of a picture, I would answer "Depends upon what it is for."  Is it good for a fine art photograph? - probably not.  Is it good for an advertising postser for the local fresh produce market? Absolutely!  Decide upon a possible use, market or intention of a photo and the question answers itself.

Thanks, Jerry.....yes, I know what you mean.  I only put it in Fine Art because there wasn't another logical category.  I wish they offered a few more categories......for instance......Domestic animals, insects, Food-related, Production/Advertising shots......well, I could go on and on, but I guess the PN gurus can't please everybody.  Now excuse me while I go fix my bowl of cherries for breakfast.  J/K

Very good composition. I go for the darker cherries for taste and supposedly for higher levels of antioxidants. All the best,
