This is a strong image and it carries a double possible meaning with the word cold used as both a statement of the weather and of the subjects attitude or feeling.  She does not look at us but peers downward as though to avoid our eyes connecting.

I think that the overly illuminated hair on top is too bright - it draws us away from what is important. Even the forehead is rather light compared to the rest of the skin tones.  I am about to recommend something I almost never do, but I think here you could crop the top of the head from the picture making the elements of the face and the dark fabric below to carry the expression of the tightly cropped face.  If that leaves you with a picture too close to square, some additional space could be cropped from each side.
