Light house in B&W

I like the b&w version - very nice!  The bird is a nice touch that you notice a bit after the other subjects.

Very nice shot... but something seems to be missing...

Where is the mast that supports the sail and yard-arms on the ship?

NOW I see where the mast is... hidden behind the jib.  The jib and sky so nearly match in tone that I did not see it at first.

You might try tweaking levels and/or contrast to separate things a bit better.

I don't know a jib from a mast but I like this version much better than the color one. GJ

This B/W work is superb.

You well balanced the lighting here and so the composition to gain such a wonderful image, I do not think this image will give the same appearance in a color format, that why the B/W was a great choice, specially with obtaining this amazing contrast and tone.

The DOF is another remarkable element to add to the fine composition of this image along with the fine details of the boat and the fanar house.

Well executed compositionally wonderful artwork with well balanced light. The overal tonality is rather flat for me and i suggest sharpness and contrast boost, Just an opinion... Bravo.

Nice shot.  I think going with the Black & white image gives a better "feel".  Especially with the sail powered ship in it.

I like the b/w as it seems to give a traditional feeling to the subject matter. The color is nice too and I like it for what it offers but this one is my preference. Must have been quite a sight and lucky you to have had camera in hand at the moment! Nicely done and thanks for sharing  ;)
