It is sad indeed.

While the photo of the model in the right side of the frame work wearing all of that nice and expensive make up, there is another aged one setting on the pavement of the street waiting and expecting some one to pass through and drop a coin or two for her to collect just a little money to feed her self.

I do no know if this is a typical return of our modern world or just a human hobbit and well remain so to the end of this world.

You did a great job with presenting this image in such great quality of light and composition with its original atmosphere, the b/w format worked so well here and do add a great credit to the fine composition of this image along with sort of great contrast and tone.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

I don't think I've ever seen juxtaposition done so well!!!! This is a classic image that I'm sure I'll see again and again in the future - congratulations!!!

you have succeeded in conveying the the black urban contrast to the viewer in a very fine way through capturing two contradicting subjects in one fine image.

a very expressive and successful street image.

Excellent capture, Edmondo...what a contrast of our life, which we are facing
days in and days out... superb composition...'I'm hungry' placard of the old lady is well contrast with the affluent gaze of the model on a poster at the background...the expression of the old lady ladened with full of pathos is bantering our soul when we see the young lady with high made over lips and mascaraed eye...just very sad, I should say...very nice image...my best

Wow! Powerful image in every way. Aesthetically and emotionally so.  The contrasts are perfectly realized as if by design, but it's just the design and randomness - and sadness - of life that you have expertly captured.  It's very well done and adds another great photo to your excellent street shots, animals and landscapes.  Best regards,
