Clematis Swirl - (View Larger)

The original composition I have not posted but will size smaller for you

to see my inspiration. The original Clematis was very over exposed, but

I still thought I could do something with it. With a Layer of a shot of a

Glass Bowl and Color Change, it seemed I had something to work with.

I found the files I used to compose, I had taken out background streaks of color, then increased contrast in photo, applied a slight swirl (notice in second photo, applied layer (glass bowl) and a rose color accent. Hope this helps. I think about the only parts of the changed original you will see is in my bottom layer of this one, in the upper left corner and lower middle. Thanks for viewing, Gail

Just looking at the base images you posted Gail, it shows that your photography in these creations is the entry into your art.

This is very creative with beautiful colours and richness, I particularly like the "perspective" that you create by using elliptical forms, It adds depth to the image.

Very artistic rendering.  I, too, love playing around with images as much as I do shooting them in the first place.  I can't paint or draw, but the computer and photography still allows us to be artists.
