Gregory, nice macro, good use of contrasting background, all the technical stuff is good. The last few years I've tried to avoid the dew dropped flowers that we all see (in Iowa it has not stopped raining this summer so it was hard to avoid and they are in my gallery) - but to make our images stand out from the others' . . .

I see the lovely drapings in the edges of the petals and would love to see an even tighter macro/abstraction of this flower.

all that aside, I love poppies and your presentation of one of my favorite subjects. Well done.
