Ghost in the Redwoods

Tripod, self-timer, all-alone and then run in the trees!

This would have been even better had there not been traces of you running to stand for the timed shutter. But the human figure being there definitely adds a lot to this image. I see your title reflects the problem. Good choice of title.

to see. It almost looks like the ghost image is similar to the flair at the top of the image. Nice title though, It almost makes it work:)

I appreciate all of your comments. The figure is small to give scale to the trees and the flare in the upper right is distracting and needs to be "removed."

Do you remember how long the shutter was open? The image is so full of light. I think it's hard to explain that to someone who's never been in a dark redwood grove.

The exposure was either 8 or 15 seconds.
