jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted September 28, 2010 The Cubans took the streets by the thousands as the rumors spread that Castros has passed and Cuba will be free. This was 2008 and the Versailles Restaurant still waits for more Celebrations and big bussiness. This is the place for Cubans to go after movies and Theater to see and be ssen! Rates/Comments appreciated. Thank you for looking. Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted September 28, 2010 This area has many attractions for turist and locals. Versailles Restaurant is at the top of the list, however the coloful people are everywhere and they are for me what really makes this neigboor hood very interesting. This couple cough my action and screem at me laughing "don't you dare take a picture of me" loud and with fingers flying in the air! Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted September 28, 2010 Little Havana is a Hispanic mix of every nationality in the Americas. Someone said once that the only true Americans are the ones from the United States of America because the Country includes the word America. The others are Mexicans, Venezuelans, Bolivians, Peruvians, Argentinians and Panamenians. What ever you want to call them you will find them in Little Havana.( Nicas are Nicaraguans and Ticos Costaricans). Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted September 28, 2010 This Cute couple is from Tokyo, they are computer engineers working in LA, visiting Miami for the first time. I started conversation and they smile and try to understand my English. ( I have been in Miami for 48 years and still speak with a heavy accent). They told me that they love Miami because people were very friendly. I send them photos of them at Versailles. They send me a picture of themself in Daytona beach. we still e-mail each other once in a while. Link to comment
