Dan... I can't see the other VASI light, but it appears the approach is close enough for government work :-)... Brings back good memories... Good shot ( uh, but I hope you weren't piloting from the right seat )... Mike

VASI looks happy enough - three white and one red, this is a pretty long runway and this was from a short approach (check the other picture in this folder) so we're still dropping down pretty quick (VSI agrees with my memory too!). At the present time i wasnt flying, no, but i've done my share of right handed approaches - its too hard and is good practice anyway - puts more of an onus on feeling the plane's speed instead of looking at the KIAS.

LOL... Ahhh, showing my age.  When doing most of my flying it was with two sets of VASI lights.  Your response prompted a search and I find this system is the PAPI lighting that I've never used.... Regardless, many don't like night flying, but it was always my favorite time... Thanks for sharing... Mike
