gsphotoguy 3 Posted December 12, 2010 In light of Jim Phelps' recent uploads I thought I'd revisit this one of Lydia. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted December 12, 2010 I am trying to see the connection between this and Jim Phelps but I am having trouble connecting them. It doesn't really matter as I like the image. Link to comment

gsphotoguy 3 Posted December 12, 2010 David - Jim's latest uploads are of the same model. Although his were quite different we both had deep shadows showing her unique form. I am pleased you like this one,Julio - Gracias! That is about all of my Spanish. I appreciate the comment.-Mark Link to comment
allan kirby 0 Posted December 13, 2010 I generally like the tonal range and the way the light falls off the model. One area that I notice though is that the other window openings behind the model have the same tonal value as her skin on the lower arm. This gives less separation from the background. I hope you do not mind the comment as I offer it only as a suggestion and an area you might investigate. As I said, I really do like the rest of the photo. Allan Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted December 13, 2010 Allan - Thank you for the terrific feedback. I always appreciate when someone takes their time to help make my work better. Yes, that one area does merge in this processed scan from the negative. I hope to print it soon and will see how it works out then. -Mark Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted December 13, 2010 I realised it was the same model too late to edit my comment. Thanks for making it clear! Link to comment
