davidmccracken 2 Posted October 22, 2010 She has a lot of character as does this image. I am not a fan of the chopped of fingers but that's just me. Link to comment
John Peri 1,032 Posted October 22, 2010 Indeed, an interesting image, it has lots of character ..I think that the focus on the eye to the left would have enhanced the force of the expression though .. I often forget too Mark, but it's something I believe we have to go for .. best wishes my friend, John Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted October 23, 2010 Maurizio and Pierre - Thank you both, as always, for your comments.David - Not only does she show character but she is one:-) I liked working with her and hope to do it again.John - See above regarding character. I guess I focussed more on the oter eye which was a bit closer. I'll think about that choice next time.-Mark Link to comment
wmc718 3 Posted October 23, 2010 This has the feeling of a realistically warm and intimate image Mark. You even managed (whether intentional or not) to pick up some Rembrandt under her left eye, which is crucial to not losing this side of her face into the black abyss of her hair. Even a touch of dodging her hair to bring out just a few highlights might bring some value add to the image. Again, I would love to see it straight from a digital camera, so as to eliminate all the degradation due to scanning-etc. Good job! Link to comment
