Golden Gate Bridge

OLD Camera ... "inherited" from my grandfather in 1972, and it was old even then. It's not an SLR, but it's not point and shoot, either (manual focus).

I'm a beginner. I've been told to work with different media (film,

filters, etc.) Right now I'm trying to concentrate on learning about

composition, though. Please feel free to offer ideas, thoughts, what

you'd do different, etc. Thanks!

Great exercise using your grandfather's old camera. On composition this one is very good but lacks a more clear foreground. Coulkd you, perhaps, radio that far away sail and ask them to veer closer towards you?

Whoa! I didn't even notice the slanting water line. Now it's all I see. Thanks!! I'll need to fix that. I'll let you know when I do. :-)

A tad grainy but still a fine photo, also think about squaring the photo so that the far side of the bridge land and see are straight. The sailboat is a nice touch. I figure the sky is so white because of the fog. Rainbows and fog are not easy to photograph so good job.
