too little boat and too much rope? perhaps...

I like the idea of what you are doing here but Rajat may be right. By expanding the subject a little bit you may give more feeling or meaning to it and still be able to tell the story with the BG. Excellent clarity and details. True to life colors are all good. Remember photos are art and its subjective and this is only MHO. Take care.

Simple element of boat completed with water and little bit fogy horizon... Quite interesting and well done work. 

Well-balanced and interesting composition, focus and dof is very good. Name does not go with the subject.

Raymond, I see lots of detail in the rope and what I can see of the boat.  Your DOF is excellent.  Your title says "fishing boat", so I am wanting to see more of the boat.  Yet, it is a very good image and I like it.  

I like this photo Ray,  with a simple yet attractive and effective composition. Lighting is good too. Well done my friend.

The composition is good. I like the texture of the rope that dominates the image, the bright colors of the bow ...
... but I think the sea is too unfocused and I wonder what would happen if they were not mountains at the back.
