Andrea, this one reminds me of an excellent movie: 'The night of the hunter'. Though the b&w is way up more contrasted, the dream like atmosphere is wonderful.

Wonderful image, Andrea...very fascinating contrast...rich black tone, reflection of the tree trunk, ghost image on the tree trunk create a mysterious atmosphere...And involved couple is very well placed at the highlight area...beautiful composition...my best

What a wonderful mix of capturing life unfolding as the shadows appear to be a parent with three small children playing among the shadows and the water's reflection - then in the background, a couple unaware of life unfolding around them as they are lost in the words they are reading.

it might not have been in your conception, Andrea, but i'm a huge horror film fan, and this perceived from the horror genre creates as awsome a terror effect as can be. and the contrast play to achieve the lighting effect is your signature skill, as are the sharp shapes in the upper right realism corner. bravo! dp

Wonderful image! Excellent work with light, shadows and contrast. Also the contrast of scenes - one with people reading newspapers and one with an horror-like figure. The people are relaxed and happy and they have no idea what is waiting behind tree:-).

there's indeed something spooky in the play of the light and shadow on the tree and its reflection in water, may really send tingles down the spine:-}. At first I was so attracted by this part of the frame and its atmosphere that it took a while before I noticed the couple reading newspapers on a bench and realized nothing horrifying is happenig here. I think the composition makes this photograph really exciting to see, the combination of as if two different genres of photography within a single frame is not an easy task I guess because they may give the viewer the feeling of competition but here the proportion in which you presented the two parts really does the trick. Challenging idea Andrea and great execution. Best regards.

Stupenda. L'effetto emozionale provocato da questa immagine è stato notevole.

Il forte contrasto e le ombre sull'albero che si rincorrono sulla superfice dell'acqua creano una dimensione dell'immagine all'interno di una seconda immagine. Nonostante le ombre raffigurino un adulto con in spalla un bambino in questa immagine si trasformano in una entità misteriosa interessata alla razza umana.

Molto Probabilmente non sarà nulla di tutto questo, ma questo è stato.

Giuro che non mi sono fumato nulla.
