Every two years in L’Ainsa is a holiday known as “La Morisma”.

It conducts a performance of medieval caracter, in the Old TownSquare, with the participation of ones 250 inhabitants who areresponsible for giving life to characters such as the Moorish kings,the Christian kings, the devil, the sin, the angel, the shepherd orRapatan and soldiers on both sides.

This representation that has been transmitted from generation togeneration is dated on 1678, but wasn’t allowed to hold between 1921and 1970.
