vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted September 22, 2010 This is really wonderful.Rich in color and the contrast of the blue against the yellow is spectacular, as well as the shapes of the dune. Link to comment
mike_stemberg 40 Posted September 22, 2010 I immediately recognised this is something very similar to what I had seen before, and then when I saw your name, it had to be you and the other image I remember commenting about.Tanni, I love the positioning of that little green brush of greenery in the foreground. That for me is surely the basis of some fine composition and framing. But then looking at the other piece of growth showing itself amongst this amazing scenery, and just above , and below it I see something which to my eyes is quite artificial. Way too much sharpening is what I'd say is causing those artefacts.I was going to say something about cropping again but I won't! What I did note was that you are posting images with a Nikon sRGB 4.0.0.3001 profile, and that the file size is around 1Mb. Is that a deliberate choice? I also was totally intrigued with f/22 @ 1/100 secs?(PS. I tried to find where you might have shot this. Do share where. My first thought was Namibia, but hey! I've never even been near such amazing desert-scapes! best wishes ~ mike Link to comment
