you have gathered some opposite and non gathering items in one image,from very old history to the modern photography under one fine street image,and that look of the girl is exactly as it is at first moment of publish,and I guess it will remain immortal.

It is a  real mix of west/east symbols that exist in Istanbul/Turkey, and are very significant to its characteristics.The National Geographic well known cover photo  creates the punch ! Well observed and composed.
