sonneland 0 Posted September 21, 2010 Madeleine, this most certainly seems better with the black b/g. in this style of image think it works better if both roses are in full focus. it's close, but top could be a wee bit sharper. really like your simple presentation. nicely done. Link to comment
sheilareeves 0 Posted September 21, 2010 I like the sense of movement created in this image. Good composition. Link to comment
sonneland 0 Posted September 21, 2010 Sheila, i may be a "sandwich short of a picnic here" but am looking at this image every way possible, last option will probably be to view standing on my head. i just can not see any movement here. to me its as "still life" as a cat sleeping on a cushion. i must say i love how different people read different images. is one of the most interesting parts of being a member of p/n. "a place where it's never to late to have a happy childhood" ............. Link to comment
sarah_mcnulty 5 Posted September 21, 2010 Hi Madeleine.Rogers last comment really made me laugh - trying to imagine Roger viewing your image upside down while balancing on his head, but I think my imagination doesnt quite stretch that far! Really like your image and the black background works really well. Nice composition and light. Regards. Sarah. Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted September 21, 2010 The detail and focus is awesome! I think I would have tilted the camera about 10 or 15 degrees to give a more dynamic feel. Link to comment
