Excellent - no suggestions - what a Sky!

Thanks Tony. I was going crazy trying to capture this huge scene. It's deceiving to get a sense of it's size from this shot. What I finally settled on (depicted here) is a 3-shot vertical pan stitched together.

One of the stranger cloud formations I have seen, changing very

rapidly over Mt. Maude in the North Cascades. I had planned on

bivvying on the summit but very cold, windy conditions forced me to

stay at Upper Ice lake, where I witnessed this 45 minute display of

fast moving clouds.

Excellent shot of an amazing spectacle Marc. You did very well to capture it and the result is a very fine picture. I have never seen mares tails like that before, there must have been a very sudden change in the winds high up - what happened next weatherwise? Erik

WOW. It's weird cloud formation indeed. Great shot.

    The best was finished: these clouds blew over extremely rapidly, giving way to high cirrus at dusk. It was very windy and cold all night but by morning had blown itself out.

Marc, A great image, with beautiful clarity and color. THe stillness of the water is a great contrast to everything going on around it.
