Guest Guest Posted September 19, 2010 A couple of very obvious concerns. The person and particularly their hair disappear into the background. You need some separation, by light, distance or both of the background.Small and very specular light sources do not usually flatter softer subjects, so soft studio flash or even outdoor light would make much more of the subjects. marina 0 Posted September 19, 2010 Thanks for all your comments. I used studio flashes with soft boxes. I guess it went pretty well considering it was the first time I was using them Link to comment
sweeterimage 0 Posted September 20, 2010 The lighting is well done, overall. It might be a bit hot on her face and the top of her left breast, but not terribly so. To the point on separation, above, I might have used a small hair or rim light to bring her head out from the background more, but once again, I don't think it is a fatal flaw at all.It is beautifully composed, and the model looks very graceful and relaxed. Very nicely done. Link to comment
