Greg, your lighting is just wonderful, feels like is actually radiating from poppy. not sure if image would suit square format or not, probably worth a try. image is pretty nice just as is also. well done.

Thanks again. These are great little flowers but the hot wet summer (earlier) gave them a hard time - just managing to bloom now. What do you think about the new rating format?

Greg, i think i like it, as it makes everyone anonymous. i have never really understood how the system works here, and don't really put much emphasis on it anyway. have noticed the ratings have dropped a bit overall, might have something to do with the new system, than again maybe not. fire wood here consist of going down to the beach and collecting what the high tides have left behind. that's the open fire, if you burn sea wood in a wood burner the salt will ruin it within a couple of seasons, ( i learned this lesson by personal experience ).  your colors on this poppy are really very nice and go very well on the black b/g.
