H.M.S. Bounty rudder

Very nice photo. There is not a lot of things, but black and white, and grey, are fully used. There are strips, shadow, curves and reflect. It is very simple, but it is not poor. I like this kind of photograph.

The composition is lacking for my taste. Just my opinion.

Nice nautical detail. I particularly lieke how the chains emerg from shadow to light - this underlines the curves they are forming. The lines and partitioning of the frame are classical - and pleasent. I personnally would have tried to add some detail contrast - esp. to the chain to emphasize their texture.
