I like the colors and shapes very much, especially the delicate shades of pink.  My only complaint is that the border, limited to the top and bottom, are too similar to the photo.  For a moment I thought I was looking at sand along the foreground edge.  I think perhaps they should be eliminated, changed significantly in color, and/or applied to all four sides to eliminate that confusion.

yes, the larger image showed up without the border... much pleasanter to see... lovely shades... i see this making a great panoramic shot with some more of the sky

It's the soft pinks contrasted with the sharply defined black and gray that I really find attractive.  Compositionally, I also like how you've provided more foreground, thereby allowing the "rule" of thirds to enhance the aesthetics of the photo.  Much better without the border.
