GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted September 12, 2010 Spent the last day just pondering 'Life', realizing that no matter how Obscure or Abstract life may become at times, if we just make a conscious effort to STOP, Breathe, then TAKE THE TIME to PAUSE & REFLECT......much of our 'bus-y-ness', we cause ourselves, much of our 'angst' we 'ALLOW'....and so many precious minutes are wasted on THOUGHTS that are MEANINGLESS. We (I) have so much to be THANKFUL for. Sometimes we just need to Open 'that door' and look inside, in order to see the 'REAL PICTURE'. Thanks for viewing, Gail Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted September 12, 2010 Good morning Amal, you 'see' so well. Whether it be 'image' or 'words', then again, learn many of these 'truths' when I view your work. You have a few more years of experience at 'life' than I, but for this I am thankful. Wisdom of the years is such a valuable 'gift'. 'And if it weren't for PN, I would not have come to 'know' the Wise Man that you are. Thankyou Amal for your kind words and 'translation'. They mean so much. Happy you enjoyed this composition, most sincerely, Gail Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted September 12, 2010 Good morning, I have missed you. Did you go on another trip? Glad to have you back. And...appreciate your feelings about this composition. I struggled with this one a bit, as I wanted to show the 'feeling' of 'opening' a door, but it meant finding a way to 'construct it', without it looking 'lame'.There are many who do not like 'frames' and I hope they will look past it, to the photos and the message I was trying to convey. I'm coming to learn that Photography does not jut mean taking photos of 'pretty flowers' or inanimae objects, or even cute little puppies. It is a means to 'express' how we feel, 'share truths' we 'unveil', and a learning experience when as we find differnt ways in which to communicate these things. To some, this may seem very silly, or a waste of time and to others it may not. But I am happy to have a 'means' to explore it all. My deep appreciation for that very thoughtful critique. Thankyou for your support, sincerely, Gail Link to comment
