Pierre Dumas 264 Posted September 12, 2010 I wouldn't accept the HDR looking effect on this one Bob for I know the usual technical quality of non manipulated kind which I've seen so far from you! Cheers!PDE Link to comment

benhuybrechts 0 Posted September 12, 2010 Hello Bob, As usual a great picture. PN is pushing us a bit to give useful comments other that great, excellent, etc. The pole in my opinion takes away some strength of the picture. Ben Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 13, 2010 Here I'm going to have to disagree with most of my fellow commenters. I don't think the composition and the extensive post production work really fit the theme, softening much of the poignancy of the moment and giving him the feeling of an character in a frieze. The scene is tragic but the presentation, carefully balanced as it is, rather overwhelms the subject matter and instead emphasizes compositional aspects. I have greatly admired your work and this is a rare picture that struck me wrong. Link to comment
