Exquisite abstract composition. The tonal range and contrast might be a bit strong, but the idea itself is solid.

In this case, with the image being an abstract, I decided that I would stick with my 'signature' vivid colors.  Were I trying to emulate reality I would have made the image much softer and less saturated and of lower contrast.

Just an 'artistic' decision...

Stunning creation Dave! This auroral display of yours is quite spectacular. I like the embossed reflection that gives the image more dimension. I vote we put you in charge the aurora display here on earth. ;-)
