This image makes me think of long, warm, summer days, vacations and that .... the school is just about to start :-)  This is what I like about this picture. Clearly conveys the message. I think that you were captivated by the sky in this scene and this is why you divided the frame the way you did: sky occupies 2/3 of the space with the field taking the remaining 1/3.  So far so good. In terms of quality of light, it seems that this picture was taken in the middle of the day. Although, you can't see any hard shadows here , perhaps the sun was obscured by a thin cloud at that moment, but the light seems a bit 'bluish'. Nothing wrong with that, just an observation. I'm not sure if you used a polarizing filter. It is possible looking at blue sky in the upper left corner. To my eyes it looks a bit too ... blue. I don't know, just a bit unnatural. May be it is just the way you post-processed your file. But I like how the yellow in the lower portion of the frame, harmonizes against blue patches of sky. Nice.

Now, with respect to possible improvements. There are two things that you might have tried. One would be to try to find a foreground point of interest by re-positioning camera. The way you composed your image, there is nothing that would keep viewer's eye in the foreground. Having a point of interest there would perhaps encourage a viewer to explore the entire frame. With the current composition, a viewer probably looks very quickly at the yellow field, moves immediately through a thin, green band of trees on the horizon and ends up looking at the sky. And here is where I see the second problem. The sky is not that interesting. Just an average looking, fluffy, grey-ish clouds. Lots of them, no interesting shapes, no dramatic color. Just fluffy clouds. In other words, if your intention was to show the beauty of the magnificent sky, the way it is presented on this photograph was not very successful. The sky looks too ordinarily, not strong enough to hold viewer's attention for longer than a second. This, combined with lack of any point of interest, other than the sky, makes this picture rather plain.

Overall, it is a nice, pleasant image. I'm rating it: 4/4

All the best, keep posting.

Low base of clouds warm colours of field and distant forest. Does one need more?

I like perspective and fine feeling of depth. Green part on the right side gives a photo certain dynamics an for that reason it is interesting.
